A panic attack often feels like a heart attack. Your heart rate elevates, your throat muscles constrict, your thoughts race, and the “fight or flight” chemicals course through your body. (If you think you’re having a heart attack, you must sick medical help.) Once anything more serious has been ruled out try this recipe. It will help you reduce stress. Essential oils can help calm you down, which is the number one goal during a panic attack.
2 drops frankincense oil
2 drops lavender oil
2 drops ylang-ylang oil
1 wet cloth
Apply the oils to a clean, damp, warm cloth.
This recipe is a great way to end a panic attack or a stressful day. Just place the cloth on the back of your neck and take deep breaths. If you are guiding someone else thru a difficult moment, stay with them at ask them to calmly breath in and out. The essential oils in the recipe will help with relieve of irritability and nervous tension.
